On Tuesday, April 11th 2017 was the launch of Peru Gourmet Canada culinary contest 4th edition. Organized by Peru-Canada Chamber of Commerce in Montreal, in collaboration with LaSalle College, the launch evening was marked by the presence of some Montreal Media representatives and culinary bloggers. This event is sponsored by OCEX Toronto
In this opportunity, a demo-tasting was led by Chef Marcel Larrea, co-owner of Tiradito and Sandouchon restaurants in Montreal. The demo began with the preparation and tasting of chilcano cocktail, made from Peruvian brandy call Pisco. Then, Chef Larrea proceeded with the preparation of Peruvian bites prepared with imported seafood from Peru.
Following the demo-tasting, the 2016 edition winner, Maria de Los Angeles Ortiz, took a few moments to share with the guests her gastronomic experience trip to Lima in March 2017.
And to conclude the evening, it was the moment to launch the inscriptions through the contest website www.perougourmetcanada.com.
